Review of Timex Unisex Expedition Classic Analog Watch #T43101

I love this watch.I bought a previous version of it in a department store about 8 years ago.The original watch is still working, but after 8 years of rugged outdoor use the band is almost worn through, the crystal had been scratched quite a bit, and paint is wearing off of the bezel. When it came time to replace the battery I decided to replace the whole watch instead, and was delighted to learn that it was still being sold. The only differences I notice with the new watch are that the band is a lighter shade of brown and it is MUCH easier to advance the date at the end of a month having fewer than 31 days. The face is easily read in the dark with a press of the dial. This is the only watch I wear, and I expect to be wearing it for at least another 8 years.

Review of Timex Men's Expedition Rugged Field SHOCK Analog Watch #T49451

Be advised. The face and band accent are DARK OLIVE GREEN.The photo appears to be a brighter forrest or hunter green which draws more attention to the eye than the actual muted olive color. So far, the performance has been very good. The test will be enduring the natural acidity of my skin.I expect to replace the band with a high performance synthetic rubber. The appearance and scale is distinctive and respectable. At a glance, the number reading and minute increments are clearly readable. While I am choosy and hard to honestly please about certain things; function, utility, aesthetics, value and such, I am finding that this watch has fulfilled my requirements in a time piece.

Review of Expedition® Rugged Field

From the picture, it looks like the numbers are white. They are actually silver and have a mirror-like reflective quality. I found that this made it hard to see them.

Review of Metal Tech

When I received this watch, it seemed very large...like a man's watch.I discovered why when I looked at the label, on the bottom of the clear plastic oval form that the watch was on, inside the box.The label clearly said men's.The online description stated unisex, but I don't agree and neither did the accompanying label.I am not a girly-girl and chose this sportier looking watch for that reason, yet this may not be right for those that want something for a woman that is not too dainty but definitely not manly.

Review of Timex Men's Camper Expedition Watch #T40021

This watch is a real deal.It is rugged and dependable, waterproof, and very comfortable. It's very lightweight and is noiseless, so you don't have to worry about a jingle alerting whatever quarry you're hunting. The watch is attached to the band via an elastic shock-strap that prevents sudden impacts from ripping it off the band. All in all, a very effective design.<br /><br />The "quick date" function assumes there are 31 days in every month, so after the shorter months you need to adjust forward a day or two for it to be correct. This is no big deal, and is common to most analog watches with this feature.<br /><br />My personal experiences with this watch have taken it hunting in all corners of the backwoods of Kentucky, as well as backpacking through the smokies and the titons. It has proven to be extraordinarily tough.I had had problems with other watches with the watch coming separated from the band after a tug or strong bump (such as taking off a rucksack and having it's strap catch on the watch bezel), but the elastic loaded shock attachment on this Timex seems to have eliminated those problems.<br /><br />The only down side to this watch that I have found is that the bright-white watch face is quite noticeable at a distance in the woods. So if you plan to take this watch hunting then make sure it's under a sleeve cuff or it could quite easily give you away.Otherwise the white face contributes to readability, even for those whose eyesight isn't quite what it used to be.<br /><br />If you're looking for an analog, easy to read watch that is tough enough to match your lifestyle, then this just might be the pick.<br /><br />

Review of Timex IRONMAN Triathlon 50-Lap SleekWatch T5H381

I've had this watch for a few months now and it works great. The wristband is light and very comfortable. Most of the features work really well and i would recommend this watch to runners in particular. The black and white contrast on the face is really easy to read even in low light.

Review of Timex Ironman Sport Watch - Gray

Very comfortable watch. 5 stars for comfort, however No stars for the longevity. My wife used this watch for many months.I borrowed it once and had the following problems.
1. Moisture entered and fogged the lens.
2. The wrist band disconnected from the watch body. The wrist band cannot be re-installed.
This would be an absolutely fantastic watch if they provided a better way to keep the wrist band from seperating from the watch, or provided a way to re-attach it if it did seperate, without taking the watch apart.

Review of Timex Unisex Ironman 750-Lap Titanium Resin Strap Watch #T5J711

It's a great watch when it works.I thought I was buying a new watch but it was either a return or used because it didn't come with an owners manual and it appeared that the battary was dead.It turns out that it had loose connections. It now works after taking to two seperate places to have it looked at.I should have just returned it but I misplaced the return slip so I ended up having it fixed instead.

Review of Timex Men's Premium Collection Perpetual Calendar Watch #T2B941

I remember my father having a Timex watch which lasted for decades...and I believe that this one will as well. It is clearly a solid, durable watch (perhaps the negative reviewer received the "lemon" of the batch.)

I'm over 50, and while I feel 25, my eyes are those of someone 50 plus. This is one of the few fairly stylish men's watches I can wear and still clearly discern the time/date without putting on my bifocals.

There's just something about the classics...just can't be beat.

Review of Timex Men's Ironman Endure Combo Shock 30-Lap Watch #T5K200

It's a timex so it does everything well.

Pros:
Looks good, feels solid
The strap is comfortable
Easy timex functionality to get to chrono, alarm, timer etc
Can maintain 2 times zones (one with the analog, one with the digital)

Cons:
The LCD text size is decent but it's definitely harder to read when you are running or exercising (this is the main reason for a 4* versus 5*). Now I know why the other Timex have such a large font size
Stores only 1 run

Overall - very happy with this purchase.

Minor point - The day on the digital display is 2 characters (not 3 characters as shown in the Amazon picture)

Review of Easy Reader

I agree with the other writer. Mine took 5 months to fog, then it died. It's a good-looking watch, but my last two Timex watches have fogged like this. It's frustrating. I've depended on this brand for years, and now two bad experiences in a row.

Review of Timex Women's Classic Black Leather Strap Watch #T2F551

If you have an arm like a trucker, you will be pleased. However, if you have slender wrists like my wife does ,then don't even consider this one. I thought she was kidding until I tried it on myself and the wrist strap was even too big for ME!
This one's in our mailbox right now waiting for the mailman for its return to Amazon.

The "indiglo" light is cool though...thus the one star.
