I have the same watch and do not have any problems setting the time or date. You press both side buttons for resetting. If you want to set the time -- press right button and hold it pressed for a few seconds (3 seconds). Then you can set hour with left button. You move to minuts with right button again. For setting the date -- press the left button first to get to the date, then press and hold right button again for a few seconds, and set date.
The watch has also a stopwatch, and the watchband is adjustable.
