Review of Pulsar Women's Watch #PXD993

My daughter wanted a feminine-looking dress/work watch.When I saw this one with the crystals and the MOP dial, along with the off-set date window, I was hooked.Size-wise, the measurements looked "nice" also.
When I got the watch I saw it was HUGE!!It looks like a man's watch, it is so big!
I had to scramble to find something else for my daughter for Christmas and will be returning this one.Too bad too, since, except for the size, it is a beautiful watch.

You'd expect to pay far more for this exquisite Pulsar Retro women's watch in lustrous steel. Polished steel tonneau case is presented on the lustrous panther link bracelet. Sparkling, faceted crystals dramatically adorn the sides of the lustrous steel bezel. Mother-of-Pearl dial shines with black hands and silver colored hour markers. A window at the 4 o'clock hour reveals the automatic date calendar. Bracelet has a push-button clasp. Water resistant. Precise quartz movement. Case is 30.5mm wide and 7.5mm thick.

Review of Pulsar Women's Sport Black Strap LumiBrite Dial Watch #PXT649

Nowhere in the listing did it mention leather on what looks to be a nylon strap, so I was disappointed to find unnecessary suede strips on the back of the strap, which were removeable with a seam ripper, but which went against my policy of not purchasing new leather products.This should be mentioned in the description.
Also, the supposedly illuminated watch face, which was the main reason for the watch's purchase, is unreadable in the dark, maintaining an eerie glow that promises something it doesn't deliver.How much better it would be if the hands themselves were the illuminated parts.As it is, it is a real disappointment--and now watch the watch last for a really long time: a disappointment that will just keep ticking on and on...

Review of Pulsar Women's Sport Watch #PXX006

My wife has owned this model for several years ... It still works, but the calendar quit rolling over and it's a little beat up ... So she made me search the Internet for more than an hour to find her another just like it ... Found it on Amazon ( go figure, huh? ) ... It's a shameless knock-off of a very popular Rolex style ... Here's a little search engine help for you ... The back is engraved V783 ... not PXX006 ... Enjoy!
