I have owned this Nike Blade watch model WC0037 for 7 months. It is a very neat watch. Unfortunately it broke and I don't know how. One evening I remove it from my wrist and notice the black bubber wrist band had separated from the body at the rear battery cover. The entire rubber/plastic hinge had cracked. This wrist band is not replaceable. I wore this watch daily to my office job. A sports watch should be made rugged. This one is not. Lesson learned is to buy a watch which has a standard replacable wrist band.

I bought this watch for my husband. He has a dresser drawer full of watches that need batteries. Some don't keep very good time either.
This Casio watch is Solar powered so it NEVER needs a new battery. It has a Atomic Clock setting that receives a signal 4 times a day from the National Atomic Clock in Ft. Collins Co. so it is ALWAYS perfect time. Accurate to 1x1,000,000 of a second a day.! WOW!!

Review of Smith & Wesson Tritium Executive Titanium Watch - Black - SWW-357-T-BLK

At first, I loved this watch. Its rugged, cool-looking, and is great at night. However, THREE of the band pins have broken. The first two were the ones on either side of the watch body. Luckily they were common sizes, so easy to replace... Not the end of the world. The more recent one was on the connecting band, and my local watch guy can't figure out what size the pin should be. He says I'm basically S.O.L. since he checked his entire stock, and the pins on this watch are very soft, mild steel, and thus prone to breaking.

If you are OK with constantly repairing and replacing parts, then this watch is for you. I would have rated it higher, but it has become such a hassle and annoyance to me that I can't even get it fixed. I'm very disappointed with their choice to skimp on such important parts, no matter how small they are. For the record, I wear this watch to work and on weekends, not during any type of high-energy or jostling activity... I'm completely at a loss as to why its been so difficult to keep it on my wrist.

Like I said, other then the pins, its been a cool watch and I've liked it, but now it sits on my desk.

As a matter of fact I purchased this and the Nike Gorge watch for my 9 yr old Twins.I was disapointed that there was only one of these in stock.

Unfortunately my Twins did not fight over this watch, they liked the other one because it has alot more features.This watch has no "extras" such as stop watch, illumination and etc.

I think it is adorable and would be pleasant for a younger age.

Review of Invicta Women's Automatic Pro Diver GS Watch #9322

CONS
1-this watch loses about 5-15 minutes daily (lost time increasing;
2-has a screw-down case; if you don't screw it down it's not waterproof, and it's very difficult (sometimes impossible) to screw it down
3-when adjusting the time, the date moves forward by a day, so you have to go thru the whole month to get back to "today"
PROS
1-it's gorgeous for a diver's watch
I'm sending it in for repair.If the company makes good I'll report back (Note that the "free" repair will cost me $25 in S&H;
there goes the bargain!I wish I had chosen the Pulsar.
UPDATE
Since the watch is under warranty, I've been calling Invicta (a long distance call). My experience so far:The company reps do not answer the phone, or hang up upon connection, or ask you to leave a message--which they never reply to. I've aske Amazon customer service to contact them on my behalf, but I don't know if they will. Perhaps I have a lemon, but Invicta's warranty is useless if you can't get an RMA.

In an age when electronics can be squeezed into smaller and smaller spaces, Nike's watches buck the trend with their oversized cases. The Blade is actually a bit smaller than their other watches in the same collection, e.g. the Hammer, though it's still kinda thick. But if you like a chunky, eye-catching watch then this could work for you. The green on black negative display is also distinctive, and the large numerals are easy to read, with the date displayed clearly. The backlight is good. The rubber strap is very comfortable and the clasp is well designed - one of the best straps I've seen on any watch.

The service I have received since receiving my product has been awful. Not only is the product faulty and not working but the company who sent it are no where to be found!! I have been calling them for over three weeks on three seperate numbers plus an email address and I have had no reply. I have contacted Nike direct about this but if I send it back to them I have to forfit the postage cost and maybe other costs. I have since managed to get hold of the company Jamashop/Watchsavers who where far from helpful and have directed me again to their website with details on how to send it back but I am very torn on trusting this company. I was very worried about ordering off the internet and after this experaince I will not be doing it again.

I got this watch when I lost my nicer Pulsar.I knew this would be a temporary watch but I expected it to last a little longer than it did.The bezel looks like metal but it isn't.The paint wore off within a few weeks and revealed the black plastic under it.The buttons are beginning to stick making it difficult to land on the function I want.

To its credit, this watch has some basic features I was looking for such as dual time and a stopwatch.

Overall, I wouldn't buy this watch again.In fact I doubt I'll buy another Armitron."The quality you demand..." is their website motto.I don't know who demanded quality this poor but I expected more from "America's Watch."I'm going to stick with Pulsar, or it's big brother Seiko.

I recently found this watch at a Ross store in Phoenix AZ, for a mere $35.00 (What a deal!)
I collect watches, and I have 12. And this is easily one of the most awesome watches I own. I bought it because I liked the white band, and I only had black and brown ones, so this was a little different. The time is digital, which I don't normally go for, but it's great. And it's got all sorts of weird features that I don't even know how to use. It also keeps the time for dual time zones, which is great for me, I travel to California often, and now I don't have to keep resetting the time.
So, in conclusion, even at $50.00, it's still a good price (a 50% discount here), and you should buy it. You won't be sorry

Review of Casio G-Shock Atomic Solar Watch GWM5600-1

You'd think with the "5600" suffix they would have just taken the venerable DW5600 and just added solar and atomic time - but they had to go and mess with it.In short, the watch has a couple "Huh?" moments that make you wonder what the designers were thinking:

Countdown timer is only an hour, not 24 hours - but the stopwatch goes for 999 hours.Huh?
Doesn't show time in all modes.(nice to have in the 5600)
No second time zone.(to be fair, the new 5600s dropped this too)
Can't set countdown in seconds, but it counts down in 1/10 seconds?(can't use it for interval training, this irked me the most)
No auto-repeat of timer.(same as above)

Plus I hear that the batteries in these solar models don't last any longer than if you bought a 5600 and just used regular ole dimestore lithiums - which are like a fifth the cost.Note that I didn't ding it for this, but go do your own research on how long the batteries really last if you are buying this in order to not have to buy batteries again.People have had 5600s running on their original batteries for ten years.

I sent this one back and bought a DW5600E.If the GW5000 turns out OK I might get one of those.

It's a great watch when it works.I thought I was buying a new watch but it was either a return or used because it didn't come with an owners manual and it appeared that the battary was dead.It turns out that it had loose connections.It now works after taking to two seperate places to have it looked at.I should have just returned it but I misplaced the return slip so I ended up having it fixed instead.

Review of Men's Jules Jurgensen Watch with Canvas Strap- Black

Within a few days after getting the watch, I could see condensation inside the glass (or crystal?) cover. I'm not sure if this was their fault, or moisture got in because I hadn't tightened down the crown after initially setting the time. In any case, I sent it off to the repair center, got it back after a couple weeks, and it's been fine ever since. Very pleased with it.

I like the look of the watch, very graphic, and I can read it without having to put my glasses on.I may swap the canvas strap for an expandable type someday.

I remember my father having a Timex watch which lasted for decades...and I believe that this one will as well. It is clearly a solid, durable watch (perhaps the negative reviewer received the "lemon" of the batch.)

I'm over 50, and while I feel 25, my eyes are those of someone 50 plus.This is one of the few fairly stylish men's watches I can wear and still clearly discern the time/date without putting on my bifocals.

There's just something about the classics...just can't be beat.

Review of Men's Wenger Swiss-Made Watch Extra-Large Standard

I replaced a 16 year old Wenger watch (same model) with this one. It had been completely reliable until the knob for manually changing time went off alignment and wouldn't work anymore

Note: the size of the watch is substantial.My old one was the ladies' version which was nearly as large as a regular dress watch for men. This one is the men's size... it's quite large, which makes reading time (especially at night) much easier for my now bifocal-using eyes :)

The phosphorescent dots on the dial 'charge up' in a couple of minutes and last a long time in the dark.

the only drawback on this watch design is the date number counter:you have to manually set it every other month.

Tip: you can change the battery yourself and save $$$ (note: if you have the battery changed at a dept store, for 9-15$, the warranty will be voided just the same as if you do it yourself). The back cover has to be unscrewed (i use needle-nose pliers with a rubber griper as a scratch-preventing liner) and voilà!)

I loved the look of this watch that was on Amazon.com and ordered it.When I received it, the watch barely fit my wrist.After further investigation on other sites (primarily nike.com), I found out it was a KIDS watch.This is not noted anywhere on this site.It is only listed under the "MENS" category.Looks like my 12 year old will be getting another Christmas present, becuase I really don't want the hassle of returning it.

It is a very nice watch, though.My son loves it.

This has turned out to be a really good watch.I got it instead of a Timex due to the scratch-resistant face.I've had it for several months and the face still looks like new.The lap feature works well and is very easy to use.Only drawback is that there is no timer.For the entry-level model though, this is a very good buy.

Review of Timex Men's Ironman Endure Combo Shock 30-Lap Watch #T5K200

It's a timex so it does everything well.

Pros:
Looks good, feels solid
The strap is comfortable
Easy timex functionality to get to chrono, alarm, timer etc
Can maintain 2 times zones (one with the analog, one with the digital)

Cons:
The LCD text size is decent but it's definitely harder to read when you are running or exercising (this is the main reason for a 4* versus 5*). Now I know why the other Timex have such a large font size
Stores only 1 run

Overall - very happy with this purchase.

Minor point - The day on the digital display is 2 characters (not 3 characters as shown in the Amazon picture)

Got this watch to swim laps but do not reliably feel the vibration while swimming. Hard to read the time in dim light and the illumination button is multifunction so may change some of the other settings when you hit it. Also, there is an hourly chime/vibration which is automatically turned on with the alarm -kept me up a good part of the night until I figured out what it was. Also no lap counter.

I was looking forward to recieving this watch....Looks Stylish but also waterproof to 100m and lightweight and perfect for my hobby as a competeitive masters swimmer.Put the watch on and took it down to the pool.Within 10 minutes it was completely ruined and full of water.That was in maybe 2 feet of water let alone 100m (300+ ft)!!Spoke to other swimmers on the team and they had the same problem.Customer service were good and replaced it promptly, (although I had to spend $17 mailing it to them)Haven't tested out the replacement in the water yet!

This is a nice watch with a lot of functions. I purchased it because it has 2 alarms, although the am/pm is hard to read. Thank goodness setting it is somewhat intuitive because the directions included are useless. The watch is bulkier than I thought it would be, but it looks cool on my wrist, and it's growing on me. I know it will be very useful with the functions and the light that comes on when you press a button. I'm pretty sure that this watch can do more than I understand so far, but I don't regret my purchase. I deducted 2 stars for the lack of directions.

Review of REACTOR Women's Orbit Oval Dial Bracelet Watch #86003

I own several reactors and I love the Orbit,the shape is very unique,although its been done by just a few watch companies. IT is made durable,and has some weight to it,which I love,but Reactor needs to improve thier friction pins when sizing the braclet.MY jewelery didnt even have a tool small enough for the womens version,but I managed to do it myself with my tool kit,the pins split ,so I just emailed Reactors cusomer service dept,asking for new friction pins. PLease use screws, the links are nice and thick so they need the screws not flimsy pins. my only other issue would be to add more links to the braclets ,just in case someone has a x large wrist. Other than these issues, they are great watches, very well made ,good movements, made as well as some swiss made timepieces if not better,and I own alot of watches. Reactor has some with a ten year battery life,also I believe they have one swiss made automatic movement,it costs arounda grand.They are striving to be High end,and I believe they are doing a great job for being only a few years in the making. Keep up the good work,and I will keep everyone posted on thier customer service,if thats not there,then I will not support Reactor.I believe selling watches to us is very easy,but giving us customer service and taking care of our requests is the more difficult feat,so we will see.
