Review of Casio Women's Digital Alarm Chronograph Watch #LW201-1AV

I love this watch for many reasons, compact, clearly visible numbers, hourly signal. The only reason I gave it a four instead of a five is
that one of the four command buttons, the one that runs the watch through all four time sequences, is located on the 'southwest' location of the face and where my wrist frequently hits it when flexing. Thus, I look down and find I have to scroll through to get the time. Were it located on the 'northeast' side, this would not happen (I believe).I would easily purchase another, and certainly recommend it.Thanks for the opportunity to review.Mary

Review of Nike Imara Kylo Cee Women's Watch - Pinkfire/Silver - WR0137-670

Didn't want to spend $70 on a watch for a kid, but my disabled daughter can only read digital and has OCD about time. She hasn't taken it off since she got it for her birthday 3 months ago. Will probably buy another color too. I've spent lots over the years on anything I could find that is digital without a buckle, but they all failed, so I guess it's worth it in the long run. It's very sturdy.Good job Nike.Too bad digital with cuffs are so rare.

Product Description
The Nike Imara Kylo Cee Women's Watch's one-size, nylon band is an easy fit on your wrist. Check the time, date, alarm and two time zones on the retro=styled display. Time, date, alarm, 2 time zones. Battery hatch.

Review of Casio Women's Baby-G Sweet Poison Shock Resistant Sport Watch # BG191-4B3

I love this watch and get compliments on it all the time.I am an RN and have looked for years for a watch that performs all that this one does.Analog face, digital 24 hr clock, and many other features that I will never use.The best feature for me is the count down timer.I knocked off points because 1. there isn't a second hand, the seconds are digital display. 2. I'm concerned about the band because it is getting dirty and reg. soap doesn't clean it.The silver ring around the face really shows it off. Sits high and is a serious sports watch but I'm wearing it at the hospital.

Review of Citizen Women's Eco-Drive Sport Two-Tone Watch #EW3144-51A

I bought this watch a few weeks ago.I wear it daily and get a lot of nice comments about it.It keeps time well and is both dressy and durable. The face is easy to read, the clasp secures well and the date is not to big, but can be easily read, plus I'm looking forward to not having to do the battery changes!

Review of Citizen Women's Eco-Drive Silhouette Sport Watch #EW0700-98A

I wanted a watch with an expansion band and Eco-drive so there wasn't much of selection. The numbers on the face are a little large and the date a bit small but the watch is great. I love not having a battery.

Review of Casio Women's Baby-G Purple Jelly Shock Resistant Sports Watch #BG169-6V

I've only been wearing it for 2 days so far, but this watch has made it through two days gardening and banging around handwashing dishes no problem. I really like that this watch feels heavy-duty. I am no longer worried about dropping my watch or forgeting it's on when I jump in the shower. I am a big Disney fan and have bought countless watches disney themed only to be buying a new watch a few months down the road. I don't do much sporty stuff, but I needed a watch that wasn't gonna kick the bucket a few months down the road. As somebody else stated on the blue version of this watch, the color in the pictures aren't true to what the color actually is. The band is alot more sub-dued in color, kinda like a lavender/gray color see through jelly band, very pretty and more adult like than other sport watches with color on them. It does take a bit getting use to have a big face on the watch for me, but if it stays alive for me, I'll deal( I prefer more petite watches). If anything happens to it, I'll revise my review. :)

Review of Citizen Women's Eco-Drive Sport Watch #EW3140-51E

I picked this one for myself because I like the simple elegant design, and it proved to be true to the picture when it arrived. The black background is a good alternative since it made the rest stand out.It has a second hand, a date and day calendar, and luminent hands which glow brightly in dark (which wasn't in the description even at Citizen website), and the design is simple elegant.

I read a previous review about the glass surface, - it is true, my 3mm scratch showed up two days after I merely wore it. No matter how careful you are, this is meant to happen for this kind of surface.I asked a watchsmith and he said replacing it will cost around $100. At the price I paid (130+)I think it is a good catch compare to my previous watch (swiss army brand, 300+). I think the surface is probably what set the price differnce. I am okey with it though because of the price and I no longer need to replace battery every two years (which is also bad for water resistance). I swimmed, stemed and saunaed with it, and no problem so far (two months).

Also, Amazon's policy is return within 30 days unwore and chain unadjusted - so pay attention if you don't want to keep it.

Review of ESPRIT Women's Sport Yellow Dial Stainless Steel Watch #ES266A2C1907935

I am a senior and have trouble reading the time on watches. This watch has a distinctly colored, large face & it is easy to read. Also discovered the date, has a small magnifyingarea over it, making it much easier to dead. I gave the 4 star because the expandable band tends to snag my skin.

Review of Kenneth Cole New York Women's Sport Chronograph Polyurethane Watch #KC2461

The watch is very sharp to the eye. The only thing I would change is the rubber watch band. The width of the band is great, i would just prefer leather next time. The face is very clean and the white band makes it pop! Great for casual or evening wear and affordable compared to the leather thick watch bands.

Review of Timex Women's Watch #T5E341

It's a very good watch. The only thing is that the color appears in the webpage is not the real one. I thought it was a light pink and when the watch arrived I realized that it's not too light.

Review of Armitron Women's Black and Silver-Tone Easy to Read Sport Watch #25-6355SIL

I am a landscaper and I put these watches through a lot. I have them in pink, blue, purple, and black, and each one has lasted me years. I get them dirty and wet on a daily basis, they get hot, they get cold, and they keep on working and rarely need a new battery even. I finally retired my last two when my new kittens chewed BOTH wristbands off in a matter of two days!

So as long as you keep these away from feisty kittens, you should enjoy these watches for a long time. They aren't the prettiest things ever, but they have a sporty and slim look that is appealing, and the thinness of the watch head and the band are both elements that are hard to find in an inexpensive watch. I hate when watchbands stick out too far from my wrist, and these are the slimmest ones I have found.

Recommended for anyone needing a sporty, slim, tough watch.

The one caveat is that the black one has a white ring around the face with a silver circle in the center, while the colored ones have a colored ring with a colored shimmery circle in the center that is a bit cooler to look at. So the black one looks a bit less stylish than the others in this line. I bought it knowing this and am happy with it all the same.

Review of Bulova Women's Sport Marine Star Diamond Watch #96R000

MODERN, FEMININE, UNIQUE AND SOPHISTICATED. This watch is even more beautiful in person! I've had it for about 1 month now and have gotten so many compliments. I can't stop looking at it, it's just that pretty. This particular model really stands out, especially when you compare it to the other Bulova watches for women, or women's watches in general. Not to mention it looks like it costs a fortune! This model is much bigger and heavier than your average women's watch, so it is not a watch to buy if you want something discrete. The diamonds are very very tiny and you can barely see them, so if you are looking for something with bigger, more visible diamonds, you will need to spend a lot more.My favorite thing about this watch, besides the fact that the face is so gorgeous and unique, is that I can dress it up or down. It can look sporty or super dressy. It goes with everything!

PS. I was considering Bulova's Diamond Chronograph Watch #96R19 (very popular model). In person, this one is waaaay better looking and much more sophisticated! Not to mention I wanted something not everybody has. It looks like it costs 10x more than the #96R19.I am so glad I saw them in person before making a decision.

Review of Citizen Women's Eco-Drive Silhouette Sport Watch #EW1174-51A

Review of Citizen Women's Eco-Drive 200 Meter Sport Watch #EW3130-55A

I love this watch.I am a lazy watch wearer, which is why I love waterproof/dive watches which allow me to wear it while swimming and showering.Of course, the biggest drawback is that once the battery dies, most watch manufacturers will not guarantee that the watch will be waterproof unless you send it back to the factory - which usuall involves a long wait and a pricey replacement cost. With the Eco-drive on this watch, the battery is always charging from the sun and will not need replacing.Plus, the style is sporty but nice enough to wear all the time and adjustable enough to fit my very skinny wrists.(In the past I have had to go with rubber as opposed to metal bracelet bands because the bracelets could not be made small enough for my wrists).

Now for the cons.If you need reading glasses, the date on this watch will be difficult to read. I'm ok in bright light, but inside, it's almost impossible to make out. Also, if given the choice, I think I'd like a darker face with the silver-toned hands and number lines. This watch has a light face with silver and white hands and lines, which make it hard to read in some light for those of us over 40.

Overall, though, this a great watch.

Review of Timex Women's Ironman Sleek Digital Resin Strap Watch #T5K027

I had this watch before and when I wore it swimming it got wet and died.Even though it is water resistant to 100M, don't count on it.I wear it mostly for running though and love the features on it, particularly the interval timer which not all sport watches have. This time I won't wear it swimming though!

As a soccer referee: simple stopwatch has never failed, no accidental button presses.
display is easily readable
As a mountain biker: scratches, even severe ones, disappear quickly
As a female: only digital watch that looks like a women's watch.Pink band faded
faded a little, but still very nice

Keep it on all the time so I don't forget it, definitely waterproof.

Review of Casio Women's Illuminator 10-Year Battery Digital Watch #LW200-1AV

I abuse my watches, so there's no point in getting an expensive one. The two features I'd like to change about this watch are: 1) Add a timer feature and 2)Make the buttons smaller so they don't get accidentally pushed. I had a Timex Expedition for many years, but they don't make it any more. This one is probably slightly dressier-looking than the more rugged Expedition, but I prefer the Expedition for its timer and it's smaller buttons.

Review of Casio Women's Baby-G Square Ana-Digi Shock Resistant Sport Watch #BG82F-7E3

I bought this watch for my wife and like all G-Shocks it is solid.Having to set the analog hands seperately from the automatic digital settings is a little lame, and my own G-Shock Wave Receptor sets the analog hands automatically.
This one would get 5 stars if it weren't for the manual setting of the analog hands.

Review of Citizen Women's Eco-Drive Silhouette Sport Watch #EW1170-51X

I've had this watch for a month.I'm very happy with it.The pushbutton that opens the fold-over clasp is so easy to use.I had some links removed and it fits me perfectly without turning on my wrist. It's very comfortable, and I love the appearance.I have thin wrists and the size is not overwhelming.

The hands are luminous but I must say I have never found that feature particularly useful on a watch.I do wish the watch had a nightlight. It has a date but I don't rely on my watch for the date.

I wanted an Eco-Drive watch because when a watch battery dies, it's so inconvenient to have the battery replaced. It's too soon to know how well the watch's self-charging system works in the long haul.So far, the watch keeps perfect time and it's totally silent.

I love this sports watch, it has all the neat functions I need:
world time: I travel across continents
water resistent 200 meter: no worry when rain, splash, swim etc.
shock resistent: like all good sports watch
and many more: memo, day counter, stop watch, alarm...

By the way, the picture doesn't show the true color, the real color is ligher, like a pale blue.

Review of Casio Women's Daily Alarm Digital Watch #LA670WA-1

This watch is available under the heading: Casio Women's Digital Watch #LA670WA-1 Ladies' dress watch, under which there more more reviews, and I already added mine there.

To reitereate, this is a very smart & sweet looking watch, and also is all metal and digital, which are both rare at this size. However, the negative aspects are: no light, no date, and the clasp comes apart very easily. The description gives the erroneous impression the strap is the expansion type, but in fact it is a metal strap with a clasp that can slide up & down one arm, to a length that fits you.

I can see why one of the previous reviewers lost her watch: it is very easy not to snap the clasp closed properly. It came apart on me more than once and, the watch being so light, it is quite easy not to notice it has gone!

I like the watch but am very disappointed with the strap. I did consider getting a genuine expansion one which was what I had been looking for, but this turned out to cost more the the watch itself! If, like me, you are looking for a watch with an expansion type strap, Timex does them much better but unfortunately, and disappointingly, does not do them in digital form....

Review of Casio Women's Baby-G G-MS Pink Watch #MSG160D-4V

Let me start by saying that the only reason that I didn't give this watch a fifth star is for the features that I wish Casio would have offered in it.This may be unfair since, in and of itself, this is a great watch.

It is a mystery to me why Casio would produce a *mostly* stainless steel watch with a silver resin bezel and timepiece base. Why not go all the way with the metal?!?That aside, the only other complaint that I have is that Casio doesn't offer the solar powered and atomic watch capabilities in watches sized for women.

Call me a geek but I love precision features! And I don't want to look like a guy while sporting said features.I'm an engineer and a new mom and this watch was the best fit for my current needs.Around Valentine's Day, my husband declared war on my dirty orange (but still sleek, feminine, and function rich) Timex Ironman watch. The problem with resin watches (other than black ones)is that the resin gets dirty and/or scraped over time. His suggestion was to find a new watch ... and fast.As mother to a newborn, I required even more precision features than ever.Timex Ironman would again have had my business but for their lack of non-resin women's Ironman watches.

Casio baby-G to the rescue!Things I swoon over about my pink baby-G:

1.Its pink face, surround, and el light.
2.Its metal watch and band ... well, mostly (refer to complaints above).
3.Its Daylight Savings Time feature ... very cool and ultra convenient.
4.Its second time zone.
5.It shows day and date along with the time (I wish it also showed month -- and year, for that matter).
6.Five alarms!
7.Beeps on the hour (optional but I like it on).
8.Zeroes out the seconds intelligently when setting the time to GMT.
9.Water resistant to 100m (very important during baby baths, spitup, and other liquid emergencies).
10. Relatively shockproof (I don't have to think twice about harming it).

In short, I want a watch that looks great, does its job (and a half), and requires very little maintenance on my part. This Casio offering is the best fit I've found and melds into all aspects of my life from working out to going out to my everyday mom duties. And best of all -- my husband loves it!Just last night he commented on how "pretty" it looks on me.

Casio, you did a great job on this design but you can do better. What is THE DEAL with the tiny parts of resin on this otherwise metal beauty??!!

P.S.I already told my husband that as soon as Casio makes a solar atomic watch for women, I will be sporting it on my wrist. Not bad for a woman who thought she'd be a lifelong Timex customer.

Review of Casio Women's Baby-G Slim Marine Watch #BG3000-7A

I choose this watch for its multiple alarms and good looks. It is a little bulky for women - but the white color tones it down a bit. It's dial area is 1.5 inches. It was easy enough to set but I need to refer to the manual to make changes because it is not intuitive. The light works well at night in bed or other dark locations. My 40 something eyes don't have a problem seeing anything on the display, although the date is marginal. If I press the light, I can more easily see the date.Overall I'm happy with this watch.I notice a little discoloration on the band - which is a worry if it is not replaceable.

Review of Timex Unisex Expedition Classic Digital Chronograph Fast Wrap Watch #T49660

I've been a fan of sports watches for more than 10 years but prefer fabric watch bands/straps, as opposed to rubber straps/bands.This is the best watch of its kind by far. It's not my first Timex but they have improved the features. The best new (at least to me) feature is the Indiglo button being in addition to the usual 4 buttons to change mode, set, etc.As with prior Timex watches of this type, it has 2 time settings--great for travelers or just daylight savings time changes.I especially like that it has 3 separate alarm settings and each can be set for daily, weekdays, or weekends. With the addition of the Indiglo button, setting time and alarms is simplifed and quick because there's plus/minus buttons, as opposed to having to roll around to get an earlier hour/time.This is a great watch and a good value for the price.I am still waiting for my free baseball cap which was supposed to be part of the deal.

Review of Timex Women's Ironman Triathlon Resin Band Watch #T5K020

So far I am happy with this watch. Note that this particular model is gray/pink, rather than black/pink. The numbers are large and easy to read, though as a consequence the watch face is rather large. I use the chronometer frequently when running. The lap/split button is large and easy to access. It is easy to review the split times afterwards. When setting the watch, you can go forward or backward, which saves time for small backward adjustments. If you don't use all of the features (all three alarms, etc.), you change the settings so that they don't appear when you cycle through the functions with the mode button. Reading the manual will save time in learning how to use the various features, but most are fairly intuitive. The band is comfortable. I cannot speak to the longevity or water resistance of this watch.

Product Description
Mauve/silver-grey trim and grey strap. 100 hour chronograph (stopwatch) with lap/split. Three alarms, each with settings for daily, weekday or weekend option. 24 hour countdown timer and Indiglo night-light. Water resistant to 328 ft.

Review of Casio Women's Daily Alarm Digital Watch #LA11WB-1

I love this watch.I've been re-buying it since the 80's.I typically trash watches within a year or so but I can make these last for a good 5 years or more even with hard use.Considering that I started out paying about 10 bucks for it, that's pretty impressive.Every one has survived my sweaty exercise sessions, sloppy dishwashing and slamming my wrist against things. The band can be torn but somehow I've only managed to do that on one of the four or so I've bought. And the band fits my little skinny wrist that NO jewelry fits, without having to alter it in any way.I use every feature on this watch, especially the countdown timer, which is a great tool for those of us who are easily distracted. If I have to remember to do something in a few minutes (from 5 to 30 minutes), whether it's call someone back, check the oven, turn off the garden hose, switch the laundry, or whatever, I can utilize the countdown timer as a reminder tool that travels with me unlike a kitchen timer or a sticky note. The watch is small and flat, and although it has a very vinyl utilitarian look, I choose it most of the time over my prettier dress watches because it's far more functional. This is not jewelry by any means but it's a great cost-effective little tool, if that's what you're into (and I am).

Review of Casio Women's Baby-G Atomic Timekeeping Watch #BG1500A-7B

I received this today and was a little shocked by the wide white brightness of the band. It looks somewhat opaque blue in the picture, but is actually bright bright white as described. I guess it could be changed if my vanity overcomes me. On the other hand, it took 2 seconds to figure the multitude of cool gadgets out and THE coolest thing is seeing the hands of the watch turn by themselves when you select which city you live in. So fun!

I had an officer's Swiss Army watch for ten years before it suddenly stopped working- instead of getting it fixed (no it wasn't a battery issue) I thought I could use in my life as a mother/graduate student/ etc. etc. a watch with an alarm , date, timer... I am glad to make the transition to practicality (at least with my watch).

Review of Timex Women's Ironman Triathlon Sleek 50-Lap Resin Strap Watch #T59211

This watch is just how it appears on the site, a combination of light blue, silvery blue and gray. I like the easy functioning of the stop watch as well as the indigo feature since I use mine for an alarm clock while traveling. The only drawback I've experienced is that the colors don't hold up well in a chlorine pool; while it is waterproof, the colors turn a little green after being exposed to chlorine. I will not attempt to swim with it again.

Review of Casio Women's Baby-G Clear Jelly Shock Resistant Sports Watch #BG169-7V

As an obsessive watch wearer, who does not take it easy on watches (wear it 24-7, rock climb & take care of 2 kids under 3yrs old who pull at my watch), I have wanted a "baby G" for about 5 or 6 years now.In the past I've typically worn a Timex Ironman & Triathlon. While I've never had problems with the actual timekeeping components, i can't make it more than 9-12 months on a watch band.I was hoping that perhaps since G-shocks 'thing' is it's indestructable..ness...it would carry over to the band as well. I've only had it a few weeks, so not sure how that will pan out.Seems quite sturdy.I was also pleasantly suprised to find that it doesn't look or feel as massively large on my wrist as I expected it to (though it is by far the largest watch I've ever owned).

My problems however are as follows & I suppose I should have "read the fine print" a bit more before buying...made too many 'assumptions' from being used to Timex.

1. The indiglo does not allow more than 3 seconds of light. This means that if I forget to set my alarm after I've gone to bed, I have to get up & turn on a light to do so.I realize this is to conserve battery power, but it has annoyed me more than I expected (see #3 to know why I would need to 'reset' my alarm regularly).

2. There is no 'countdown timer'!!How can this be?What kind of sports watch has only a chrono?A G-shock apparently.I use timers incessantly & this is the biggest issue I have & clearly should have checked to make sure before buying.

3. There is only one alarm option. This is also more annoying than I would have expected.I really got used to the option to be able to set 3 different alarms with my triathlon (morning alarm, "yogurt is done incubating" alarm, "time to get the kids up so you can get to the gym in time" alarm...the list goes on.I'm doing a million things at once & loose track of time easily).

4. This is not really a problem, but a thought I had so figured I'd share: the address 'book'?In the age of cell-phones...quite unnecessary.6yrs ago when I did not have a cell (I was a late adapter), I thought it was an incredibly cool feature. However,I have not even attempted to use it (it would take hours to set that up!).

5. Another feature I don't get is the 'day alarm' or whatever it's called. You can set a date (years in advance) for an alarm to go off which you can label.I suppose if i had trouble remembering my anniversary or something??

Overall, it works fine & looks great, but it does not have the functions I really need (again...sports watch!) & has a few that I really don't need (who needs their mom's phone # while jogging?).Perhaps it's just not marketed to a 29 year old mother of two trying to fit in workout schedules & feeding schedules & using a watch as cooking timer (so I can leave the house while bread is rising & not carry around an egg timer to remind me to get back home!).I'm guessing it's geared more toward highschool/early college gals who are not training for sports competition?I'm going to try to sell it on craigslist & go back to my beloved triathlon (& deal w/the "weak" bands).

***10/9/08 update:I never did get around to selling it & thus have been stuck with the things that annoy me.But thought i'd update on the resilency:It's been just over a year & i'm just as abusive to this watch as any other i've owned & all pieces are still completely intact & showing no signs of wear. However I must add that my husband apparently disagrees on the largness aspect. He thinks it's massive & is not a fan.;)hopefully this means i'll get a timex for christmas ***

Review of Timex Women's Ironman Sleek Digital Resin Strap Watch #T5K026

This is the 4th or 5th watch in this series that I've owned. This one allows for multiple interval timing. Fantastic!

I 'did' the Chicago marathon this past fall. The group that I train with runs for 3 minutes and then walks for 2 minutes on all of our training runs. This watch alternates these intervals, sounding an alarm after each! The buttons are intuitive, making it easy to use even with quite a few features.

The silver and black color combo has held up much better another black and metallic green Timex watch from another line did (The metallic green on the watch face scraped off). The band has openings which is nice (your wrist doesn't get sweaty). Good value.

Review of Timex Women's 1440 Sports Magnetism Watch #T5B831

I purchased this little Timex as basically a "thrasher watch" for my wife. The few watches that she owns are relatively expensive and would not hold up during our weekend activities. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, nothing more nothing less. This is an excellent low cost timepiece.

Review of Armitron Women's Easy to Read Instalite Black Sport Watch #25/6369

What I like most about this watch is the fact that it's adjustable. I have small wrists and it works real well for me. The illumination feature is a plus, as I do a lot of walking after dark.
The only downside for me is that when you put on a shirt with the watch on, the sleeves catch the velcro. So you might want to wait till after you are dressed to put on the watch.

Review of Timex Unisex 1440 Sports Digital Resin Strap Watch #T5G881

This watch is great! The numbers are easy to read, great for taking vitals. The date and day of the week feature is really helpful. It is comfortable. A couple times, I banged the clear cover on the front of the watch on things, and it has not scratched. I am happy with my purchase.

Review of Timex Women's 1440 Sports Digital Watch #T5J131

This watch is exactly what I was looking for. It is a small, pretty, functional watch that is quite durable. It has plenty of features, but is not extremely complicated. The color is slightly lighter and more purpley then it is in the pictures.

Review of Timex Women's Digital Marathon Resin Strap Watch #T5F091

I have bought the Timex Marathon several times over the last 7 years and not because the watch itself has broken down.I don't think I have ever needed to change the battery!I wear it to work daily and have needed to replace it because of general wear and tear. The settings are simple to adjust. The pulse calculator is a neat feature if you work out. Both the timer and alarm volumes are loud enough so you can use this watch as your sole alarm clock.A great watch at a very reasonable price.

Review of Casio Women's Baby-G Shock Resistant Sports Watch #BG169A-1AV

I've had this watch before. After 5 years, in the ocean nearly everyday, it finally gave out. I thought I wouldn't find it again. This color and style. I love it because it's comfortable to wear when surfing and/or paddling. I am a hairstylist and it looks great even at work when I am shampooing client, etc. My eyes aren't as sharp as when I was younger, so the digital numbers make it super easy to see. A very good practical and fashionable watch. RECOMMENDED HIGHLY!!
