I purchased this watch as a Christmas present for myself - at least 10 years ago.It is still going strong and looks wonderful.Of course, the battery has been replaced several times as has the watch band.A great investment that has kept very accurate time over the years.

Review of Men's Wenger Swiss-Made Watch Extra-Large Standard

I replaced a 16 year old Wenger watch (same model) with this one. It had been completely reliable until the knob for manually changing time went off alignment and wouldn't work anymore

Note: the size of the watch is substantial.My old one was the ladies' version which was nearly as large as a regular dress watch for men. This one is the men's size... it's quite large, which makes reading time (especially at night) much easier for my now bifocal-using eyes :)

The phosphorescent dots on the dial 'charge up' in a couple of minutes and last a long time in the dark.

the only drawback on this watch design is the date number counter:you have to manually set it every other month.

Tip: you can change the battery yourself and save $$$ (note: if you have the battery changed at a dept store, for 9-15$, the warranty will be voided just the same as if you do it yourself). The back cover has to be unscrewed (i use needle-nose pliers with a rubber griper as a scratch-preventing liner) and voilà!)

It's the best quality watch with a leather band and the basic features (time & date). It's simple, accurate and looks great.

Agree with "SkipChurch" review.Excellent product.He's also correct about a good-looking, functional watch.Would like to add a few items you may find helpful.Like the Crown protector feature.My last watch (from discount store) didn't have this feature.A few times I'd miss an appointment as the stem had accidentally pulled out.I'm guessing from reaching into my pocket and getting snagged in a time-set position.The TerraGraph 72703 has military time for my computer work and the champagne dial is easy to read.The TerraGraph 72701 appears to be the exact same except for white dial.I chose the 72703 mostly because the champagne dial seemed to be a bit "softer" in appearance.It doesn't draw attention with black numbers on white dial.The olive nylon strap with leather accents, at first, seemed too loose.After about a day or two, the strap form fit better.I may change out the strap but at a later time.Sent a pre-sales question into Wenger Customer Service and they responded quickly and professionally.The product line has many options for customers for service work too.Amazon's affiliate, Swiss Outpost, handled this transaction superbly.Along with Amazon's automatic notifications, Swiss Outpost sent a thank you note and provided a direct link for UPS tracking.Delivery was amazingly fast -- about 3-days.Since delivery, the vendor has followed up to made sure all was satisfactory.Excellent Amazon partner to deal with.

Review of Wenger Women's Sport Series Watch #70389

I purchased this watch for myself for both casual and dress use. It looks great, though it is a bit large in the way that sport watches are, it does look very classy.
I like how sturdy it is, it is very well made, no burrs, rough spots, or discoloration of material. And it is stainless steel, so in theory it should last forever. The clasp mechanism is secure, and blends perfectly into the bracelet, leaving only a small line to indicate where it opens.
It is secure, too, and I have tried to get it to pop open. It just won't! I did have to have several links removed, but this is a quality piece , it fits perfectly (now), and it looks very nice.
